In regards to the playback of videos directly from the NAS, you will depend on your box or your tv not only to control the exploration (no dedicated remote controller), but especially for the decoding. The goal was to be able to play movies and music on my Tv, tablet, PC, PS3 and smartphone from a single hard drive, wireless, from any piece.
